Really, let me sum it up:- The background images are blurry, like enlarged jpg pictures.- The items you need to find are sometimes hidden behind other objects, only partly on the screen, or the description is just bad.- When you (accidentally) hit the menu button you have to start the level over.- This game is so short, I was done in 71 minutes, 15 of which I was having lunch while the game was running.- The story is... present? But in ends... well abrubtly would be an understatement.- If you click an object you need to find, you have to wait for it to leave the screen, before you can click on the next object.- The light on screen is slightly pulsating, making the edges hard to even see, let alone find objects in it.I guess that's about it. Too bad those are the most basic parts of a Hidden Object game. And I did not even mention the puzzles you have to complete after you finish a level. It would work if you had some kind of indication of where the pieces should go, other than the tiny image on the side of the screen. Why even make the puzzle pieces disappear after they have been placed correctly?Does this game have any positive aspects? Well the tune that plays when you're searching for items is kinda catchy.... Horrible...save your money and buy anything eles!!! This game is a visual nightmare in the making, too bad as the storyline had such promise. What you see is so little as the graphic are set like veiled imagery. So when the "find the clues" timmer runs out, it resets the game. Sorry sucker, try again!. Hidden Object games are not my favourite types of games but I've played enough that to know that "The Flying Dutchman" is (one of) the worst available here on Steam. Unlike most other Hidden Object games, The Flying Dutchman has no story (as far as I know). The pictures all look pretty boring to me and the mini-games are too easy and uninteresting.But the worst part of this game has to be the graphics. I know these kind of games do not rely on their great graphics but most of the time you're searching an object that's pretty much invisible due to the horrible graphics. If you try to click anywhere on the screen to find this 'invisible object', the timer speeds up greatly and could result in losing the game. Also, you have to click directly on the objects, one milimeter left or right of the object and the game won't know you clicked on the object.This game will most likely frustrate you instead of enjoy you, so not recommended.. Let's see..... A light bulb is apparently spelled 'Bulp', a Gargoyle is spelled 'Gorgoile' and juice is a glass of beer to them. Not to mention a few others. End result there's a lot of misspellings and the games graphics are too bright and muddy for the items to be seen. Final result: This Game Sucks!!
